A Glamourous Tradition with Heart
On Thursday 25th September, Lucini London proudly took part in the 11th Annual Southampton Charity Fashion Show Luncheon, organised by the incredible Sherry Claridge,ย a woman whose passion for beauty, style, and philanthropy shines as brightly as the event itself. With an extensive background in beauty and cosmetics, Sherry has been fundraising and supporting charities since 2014, turning her love for fashion and community into an inspiring legacy of giving.
This yearโs luncheon, held at the grand and historic The Grand Southampton, carried a special sense of occasion. Once the final dining venue for passengers of the Titanic, it served as a fittingly elegant backdrop during Southampton Boat Week, bringing together fashion, fundraising, and local spirit in perfect harmony.
Elegance, Energy & Empowerment
Guests arrived dressed to impress, greeted with champagne on arrival and the buzz of excitement as photographers captured group shots in front of a sponsor banner proudly featuring Lucini London among an array of generous supporters.
The afternoon unfolded with a beautiful sit-down meal, seamlessly hosted by Hayley Palmer , the charismatic TV presenter known for her work onย Sky TV, GB News, and previously ITV and BBC Radio. Hayleyโs energy and charm carried the event through with style, as she introduced sponsors, designers, and special guests to the stage, including Councillor Patricia Evemy, the Sheriff of Southampton, who shared warm words of support and gratitude.

Fashion That Gives Back
The dayโs stunning catwalk segments showcased a diverse mix of creative designers, from couture to swimwear. Among them was House of Tammam and Lynette Couture Collections, who Lucini London had recently met at the House of iKons show during London Fashion Week,ย an event weโre thrilled to be taking part in next February.
Lucini London brought a splash of summer energy to the runway, with four dazzling modelsย Zara Vickers, Hannah Aria, Millie Cooke, and Luise Hasse โ strutting confidently in our signature bikinis. Each look celebrated empowerment, individuality, and unapologetic style. The models, three of whom are former Miss Swimsuit International UK finalists, wowed the audience as they glided through the venue before stopping for photos in front of our Lucini banner.
Later in the show, they returned to debut unreleased designs from our 2026 range, offering guests an exclusive first look at whatโs to come.

The Lucini Story on Stage
During the event, we were invited to the microphone to share the Lucini London journey,ย our first year in business, the inspiration behind our name, and how Lucieโs passion for bikinis (and her post-pandemic struggle to source her favourite brands to the UK) sparked the birth of our bold, empowering swimwear label.
The crowd responded warmly, connecting with our message of confidence, creativity, and female empowerment, values that perfectly aligned with the spirit of the day.

Just before the charity auction, the room fell silent for a heartfelt and emotional speech by Anthony James, a father who shared his personal story about his daughter Rosie. Born with serious health complications, Rosieโs survival was made possible thanks to the exceptional care and dedication of the Southampton Hospital team. His words moved the audience deeply, reminding everyone why the eventโs cause, Southampton Hospitals Charity,ย truly matters.

Auction Highlights & Artistic Generosity
The charity auction brought incredible energy and generosity to the room, featuring luxury items, fashion prizes, and fine art. Among the standout moments was a stunning painting titled โWomanโ by acclaimed artist Alina Babenko, which drew enthusiastic bidding and beautifully reflected the empowering theme of the event.
Lucini London proudly contributed a ยฃ100 gift voucher, which was auctioned off to raise funds for the cause. Thanks to the collective generosity of guests, the event raised over ยฃ3,000 for Southampton Hospitals Charity,ย a fantastic achievement reflecting the kindness and unity in the room.

Fun, Fashion & Lucini's Spin & Win Debut
This luncheon also marked the launch of our Lucini London Digital Spin & Win contest, a fun and interactive experience at our exhibition stand. Guests spun for a chance to win exclusive prizes, from gift vouchers and phone pops to bikinis from our Florida Coast Collection.
Withย guests taking part, the contest created a buzz of excitement throughout the day with two lucky winners takingย home a bikini of their choice, and plenty of smiles.
Ending the Day on a High
As the event wrapped up around 6pm, the celebrations continued just a short stroll away at Banana Wharf, where guests and sponsors gathered for an intimate afterparty. Conversations flowed, music played, and laughter filled the air, the perfect ending to a day filled with purpose and positivity.
Reflections & Gratitude
The Southampton Luncheon was more than a fashion event โ it was a day that celebrated generosity, community, and the power of coming together for a meaningful cause. Lucini London is proud to have played a part in this inspiring occasion alongside such passionate people โ and we extend our thanks to Sherry Claridge for her tireless dedication to beauty, charity, and bringing people together through style and purpose.
Hereโs to another year of making waves โ in fashion, in fundraising, and in the hearts of those who make it all possible.
