On 9th June, Lucini London proudly made it's runway debut at Ibiza Swim Week, marking another unforgettable milestone in our journey as an emerging luxury swimwear brand. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Ibiza's historic Old Town and sparkling Mediterranean coastline, the event brought together designers, models, media, and fashion professionals from around the world for a spectacular celebration of resortwear and swimwear fashion.
Model Fittings With A View
The Ibiza Swim Week experience officially began on 8th June with designer fittings held on the stunning rooftop of the Aguas de Ibiza Grand Luxe Hotel. We were warmly welcomed by Nia Vasquez and her incredible team, who ensured every designer and model felt at home from the very beginning.
We had our own dedicated Lucini London fitting area, where we met our selected models, carefully checked sizing, perfected each bikini fit, and made sure every look was runway-ready. With panoramic views overlooking Ibiza's beautiful harbour and the Mediterranean Sea, the rooftop created the perfect setting for capturing stunning photographs of our models wearing Lucini London before the excitement of the main event.
The afternoon flowed into the Summer Edition, a relaxed celebration featuring inspiring talks, wellness activities including yoga, fashion pop-ups, live DJ sets and refreshing cocktails. It was the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow designers, models and industry professionals while soaking up the unmistakable Ibiza atmosphere.
Taking to the Ibiza Swim Week Runway
The following day brought the moment we had all been waiting for.
The main runway show was held at the beautiful Hotel La Torre del Canónigo, nestled within the historic walls of Dalt Vila in the heart of Ibiza Old Town. The open-air courtyard offered an unforgettable runway setting, with spectacular sea views providing the perfect backdrop for an evening of luxury fashion.
Behind the scenes, there was an incredible buzz as models prepared for the show. We spent time making final adjustments to each look, networking with fellow designers, meeting new faces from across the international fashion industry and capturing plenty of behind-the-scenes moments before the runway lights came on.
Ten Looks, One Unforgettable Debut
As the evening unfolded, Lucini London proudly became the fourth designer to showcase our latest collection. Ten incredible models each presented a unique Lucini London look, confidently stepping onto the runway individually in front of our striking branded video wall. Every model embraced the personality of the collection, bringing confidence, elegance and energy to each design.
For the finale, all ten models returned together for one spectacular group walk before we proudly stepped onto the runway ourselves as a united husband-and-wife team. Walking to the end of the catwalk together, surrounded by our models and with cameras capturing the moment from every angle, was an experience we will never forget. It was a proud celebration of everything Lucini London represents and a truly special milestone in our journey.
One familiar face walking for Lucini London was Charlie Cousin, who is proudly representing the UK at Miss Charm this year. Charlie also holds a special place in our journey, having previously been the head organiser of Miss Glamour UK, making it even more meaningful to have her representing our brand on the Ibiza Swim Week runway.
From Runway to Photoshoots
The excitement continued the next day after the show with an exclusive editorial photoshoot held at Bonito Hotel Ibiza, where several of our runway models showcased Lucini London in another stunning Mediterranean poolside setting.
These additional campaign images perfectly captured the spirit of Ibiza—sunshine, luxury, confidence and effortless summer style—and provided the perfect finale to an incredible few days on the island.
International Recognition
Our Ibiza Swim Week debut didn't end with the runway. Lucini London was proudly featured in several Spanish fashion publications following the event, including Fashion United, Staff5, and Abra Magazine, helping introduce our collections to an even wider international audience.
As a young British swimwear brand, receiving international media coverage alongside showcasing at one of Europe's leading swimwear events was another significant step forward in our continued growth.
Another Incredible Milestone
From rooftop fittings overlooking Ibiza Marina to stepping onto an international runway in the heart of Dalt Vila, Ibiza Swim Week delivered an unforgettable experience from beginning to end.
We are incredibly grateful to Nia Vasquez, her fantastic team, our wonderful models, photographers, organisers and everyone who helped make our debut such a memorable success. Every event we attend allows us to share the Lucini London story with new audiences, build lasting relationships and continue inspiring confidence through luxury swimwear.
