Lucini London Sponsors Miss Ocean World UK 2026

We were delighted to be sponsors for Miss Ocean World UK 2026, an inspiring pageant competition dedicated to ocean advocacy, sustainability, and empowered voices. On Saturday 17th January 2026 the event took place at the Lincoln Performing Arts Centre marking the second edition in the UK comp. Organised by the incredible Laura Hudson, former Miss Ocean World 2023 Queen and professional mermaid, the event brought together finalists, judges, brands, and guests united by a shared mission to protect our oceans and raise vital funds for Blue Corner Conservation, a charity committed to safeguarding coral reef ecosystems around the world.

An Eco Theme and Powerful Purpose

This year’s eco theme focused on Coral Reefs, a timely and poignant choice. With warm-water reefs having recently reached a critical tipping point, the theme served as a powerful reminder of the urgent need to address global warming and protect these fragile ecosystems before irreversible damage occurs. Throughout the evening, contestants highlighted the importance of reef conservation and the role oceans play in sustaining life on our planet.

Meeting The Finalist and Setting The Stage

We arrived earlier in the day to set up the Lucini London exhibition stand, giving us the opportunity to meet the finalists ahead of the competition. It was a pleasure to introduce ourselves and gift each finalist a Lucini London fan, which they were welcome to use as an optional accessory throughout the evening — a small but meaningful touch that tied the brand into the event’s visual storytelling.

Backstage preparations began at 4pm, where we met fellow judges including Chanelle from The Acne Brand and Swayze Best, winner of Miss Earth & Water 2025. The judges’ interviews followed, offering a chance to connect with each finalist one-on-one. These conversations explored their personal journeys, passion for ocean advocacy, and dedication to raising funds and awareness through Miss Ocean World UK. It was inspiring to hear such thoughtful, informed responses, and to score each finalist based on both substance and presentation.

Guests, Judges and Queens

Doors opened at 6.30pm, with guests welcomed into the venue by the sight of our Lucini London stand positioned at the entrance. Visitors were invited to admire a selection of Lucini London bikinis and take part in our popular spin-the-wheel competition, while nearby a charity raffle table showcased an exciting array of prizes. The buzz around fundraising was immediate, with many guests eagerly purchasing raffle tickets in support of Blue Corner Conservation.

The main event began around 7.30pm and was hosted by Laura Hudson, joined by previous queens and advocacy judges including professional mermaid Jasmine Seals, winner of Miss Ocean World UK 2025, Misha Rio Richards, Miss Ocean World 2024 and PADI instructor, and Beckie Carnemolla, winner of the first-ever Mrs Ocean World title in 2024. Together, they guided the audience through the evening with warmth, professionalism, and passion.

A Night of Creativity, Confidence & Talent

The competition unfolded across several beautifully curated rounds, each allowing the finalists to express different sides of their personalities and advocacy. From confident introductions and ocean-inspired eco creations to swimwear, evening gowns, and a captivating talent showcase, every finalist demonstrated creativity, courage, and genuine commitment to the cause.

The energy throughout the night was incredible. Contestants approached each round with enthusiasm and heart, sharing fascinating insights about marine life, conservation, and the importance of protecting our oceans for future generations. Their passion was felt throughout the auditorium, making the judging process both inspiring and challenging.

A Proud Moment For Lucini London

One of the most memorable moments of the evening came when Laura Hudson formally introduced Lucini London on stage, sharing our brand story, identity, and journey with the audience. This was followed by the debut of our Lucini London 2026 promo video, featuring never-before-seen bikini designs worn on beaches, accompanied by the Lucini London anthem, played publicly for the very first time. It was a powerful and emotional moment for our brand, and one we will always remember.

Before the winners were announced, the charity raffle table was brought onto the stage, with winning numbers drawn and prizes awarded, reinforcing the evening’s core mission of giving back and supporting ocean conservation.

Judging Decisions and Crown Winners

As judges, we were then called backstage to deliberate and nominate a variety of special sashes, recognising finalists who stood out across different rounds for their creativity, confidence, and advocacy.

The two Miss Ocean World UK 2026 titles were ultimately awarded to Molly-Marie Buckley, a performing arts school owner from Spalding and dedicated WWF fundraiser, and Hannah Fairhall, professionally known as Mermaid Hannah Pearl, a Bristol-based ocean advocate. Hannah also received awards for Best Eco Costume and Best Talent, with both winners demonstrating outstanding passion, purpose, and commitment to the Miss Ocean World mission.

The crowned winners will now go on to represent the UK internationally in India, campaigning for a #PollutionFreeOcean and continuing their advocacy on a global stage.
